2. Now specify the respective size of the volume for each disk. Select the first disk under "Selected" and enter the

size you want the volume to be under Disk space in MB. Then select the second disk and enter the size you want

the volume to be on this disk.

Click Continue in the wizard and set additional settings. The spanned volume will then be created on the disks

you have selected.

Shrink volume

To shrink a volume, right-click the volume and then click Shrink volume. All the available disks will be displayed.

2. If the volume is located on multiple disks (spanned volume), you can select whether the volume should be shrunk

on all or just one of the disks.

Using Add /Remove select the disk or disks you want. By removing a disk from the selection, the volume will not

be shrunk on it.

Click Continue in the wizard and set additional settings. The volume will then be shrunk.

Note: Only simple or spanned volumes can be extended or shrunk. RAID, mirrored, and stripe set volumes cannot

be changed.
