Change the size of a volume

Volumes are located on dynamic disks. There are simple and spanned volumes. A spanned volume needs to be located

on at least two dynamic disks.

To extend the size of a volume, right-click the volume and then click Extend volume. All the available disks will

be displayed.

If you only want to extend the volume, just enter the desired size under Disk space in MB.

Click Continue in the wizard and set additional settings. The extended volume will then be created.

Extend the volume onto multiple disks

1. If you want to extend a volume onto multiple disks, select the addtional disks you want from the list on the left

and click Add. This will result in the volume being automatically created as a spanned volume in a later process.
